We collect information you provide directly — your email address and account profile when you sign up — and information generated while using the Service, including the chat messages and questions you submit, the teams and sports you ask about, and basic usage data such as session timestamps, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

We use your information to: (a) operate and provide the Service; (b) authenticate you and protect your account; (c) generate AI-powered responses to your queries; (d) improve the quality, accuracy, and performance of the Service; (e) communicate with you about updates and support; and (f) detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

SHARPr does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Period.

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party service providers to operate the Service:

• Clerk — handles user authentication and account management.
• Supabase — hosts our database, including user records and chat history.
• Anthropic — processes your chat messages to generate AI responses. Messages sent to the Anthropic API are handled per Anthropic’s data usage policies.

Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its functionality.

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure aggregate Service usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service may not function correctly without them.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, including your account and chat history. To exercise these rights, email us at support@getsharpr.ai. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database storage, scoped access controls, and the security practices of our underlying providers — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

SHARPr is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
